Shake 'n Sniff Cards

I've loved shaker cards since I was a kid.  It's so much fun to see that little something extra floating around in your card.  Stampin' Up! has made it SOOOO easy for us to make beautiful shaker cards by giving us Shaker Frames.  In today's video tutorial (the first one I've done in a VERY long time) I am going to show you how to make a very cool Shake 'n Sniff card using my favorite Pink Zebra Sprinkles and our awesome Shaker Frames.

Stop hating bows!

Ok, you know who you are.  You...yes, YOU!  You're far from what I'd call the bow whisperer. As a matter of fact, you go out of your way to make cards and scrapbook pages that don't even use a plain ol piece of ribbon.  I want you to stop being afraid!  Make ribbon your friend!

See the nifty photo to the left?  This is what I call a "cheaters bow".  No tying, not knots.  It's just some adhesive and a couple of strategically placed loops.

The photo on the right is a sample card from our Technique Notebook Session 3 that uses one of these quick and easy cheaters bows.  Go ahead and give it a try.  What's the worst thing that can happen?  You might actually find a love for ribbon after all!

Roses are Red...

I am in love with the paper roses I've been making for quite some time out of the Stampin' Up! ornament punch.  I've updated my original tutorial published on my old blog and wanted to share it again here.  These flowers are so quick and easy.  I enjoy making these while watching a little TV.  It's three dimensional punch art.  I totally love it!!
